I am the founder of Gisella’s Sewing Collective and an award-winning designer, though many of my students know me simply as the "master troubleshooter." If you have a project sitting in a drawer because you hit a wall, I’m here to help you move past the frustration and finally finish it.

I believe sewing should be a calm, non-judgmental experience. At the Collective, we don’t do pressure; we do progress. I created this space specifically for women who want to:

• Reclaim their confidence at the sewing machine.
• Solve the "stuck" moments with expert, real-time advice.
• Connect with a community of like-minded makers, no matter how far they live from a city.

Sewing is in my DNA. I grew up in my family’s tailoring business, surrounded by patterns and the hum of machines. That early foundation led me to study fashion design in the '90s and eventually work professionally in couture, creating bespoke wedding and evening gowns.

Those years taught me the "secret" techniques of fit and finish, but my true passion is passing that knowledge on to you in a way that feels approachable and fun.

Gisella’s Sewing Collective is entirely online, bringing a warm, personal sewing circle directly into your home. Whether you are in a rural town or a busy suburb across Australia, you have a seat at our table. Through live interactive sessions and a supportive community, I’m here to mentor you toward making clothes you truly love to wear.
